A 17-year-old girl was pronounced dead early this morning after she was being shot in a domestic related incident, officials said.
Dazaray Brunt of the 6600 block of South May Street was pronounced dead at St. Bernard Hospital at 3:27 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Police responded to the block at about 2:59 a.m. after the girl was reportedly shot in the chest, officials said. Police believe that she was shot in a domestic-related incident over a transmission of a STD.
Police are investigating the shooting.
