A motorcyclist died in a collision with a car in the 100 block of South Halsted Street about 11 p.m. Wednesday, Chicago Heights police said.More information about the crash is not yet available pending investigation, Chicago Heights Police Sgt. Keith Applequist said Thursday.
“It was pretty bad,” he said.
The Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team is assisting Chicago Heights with the investigation, he said.
Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s officer have not yet released the name of the motorcyclist.
