Aarion Mosely, 16, charged with raping woman, 68; leaves Facebook 'girlfriend' in shock

MOSLEY? That name sounds familiar!

Gary, Indiana - Approximately 17 hours ago, 16-year-old Aarion Teri Lee Mosley was posting messages on Facebook. Now he's probably wondering if he'll be able to post bail.

Aarion Mosley has been charged in the August 13, 2011, rape of a 68-year-old homeless woman at the Miller South Shore Line station on the 5800 block of East Dunes Highway, near East Dunes Highway and Lake Street in Gary, Indiana.

The woman went inside the shelter to escape the rain, said the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District police.

Investigators have video of a suspect, presumably Mosley, riding a bike to and from the crime scene.

Authorities said the 16-year-old pulled a BB gun and sexually assaulted the senior citizen in the train station. Then he causally rode away on his bike, said police.

Mosley was apprehended after an officer reviewed additional surveillance footage, and recognized the teen from a prior arrest, reports the Chicago Tribune.

Monday, August 22, 2011, the 16-year-old rape suspect was arrested at Gary's Lew Wallace High School, where he is a sophomore.

According to Patricia Mosley, Aarion Mosley's mother, Monday was also Aarion's deceased grandmother's birthday.

A young girl on Facebook, who referred to herself as Mosley's wife, had this to say about her alleged boyfriend's rape charges:

"I can't believe you did some BS like that. I'm still in disbelief. Wow! I can't even think straight and I can't even sleep knowing about this. This sh*t is crazy. Why didn't you warn me?"

Then she added, "I never thought he would do some BS like that. I was wondering why he wasn't answering his phone."

Potential DNA evidence is still being analyzed, said the Tribune.
