A Palatine man pleaded guilty Monday to molesting two young girls and taking photos of sex acts with one of them and was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
Francisco Villa, 55, of the 600 block of Constitution Street, admitted guilt on charges of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, aggravated child pornography and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Cook County prosecutors in Rolling Meadows branch court said Villa forced a 9-year-old victim to perform sex acts and downloaded photos of it to a computer. He also molested a 7-year-old girl, prosecutors said.
One of the girls reported what had happened to a school official, and the resulting police investigation turned up the photos on several computers Villa owned, authorities said.
The incidents started in June last year when Villa became friends with the family of the girls.
Judge Hyman Riebman told Villa that he had committed a “horrifying and despicable act.”
