New York's Mayor Michael Bloomberg is not going to run for re-election. The New York City Democratic Machine is going to run long time beloved NYPD Police Commissioner Ray Kelly as the Democratic Mayoral Candidate.
Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy will leave the Chicago Police Department to become the new NYPD Police Commissioner. The Democratic power brokers had McCarthy be made the Chicago Police Department Superintendent so his move back to take over NYPD's police force would appear to be a lateral move by a man with experience as a big city police boss.
Michele Obama's relative, Michael Shields, took a $50,000.00 a year pay cut to come back to the Chicago Police Department last month because as soon as McCarthy leaves for New York, Michael Shields will be named the new Chicago Police Superintendent. Thus his $50,000.00 pay cut from the Chicago Public Schools magically turns in to a raise with the Superintendent's yearly salary.
