Celebs Who Lean To The Right

New York City's CBS TV affiliate Channel 2 has an amusing slide-show on their website called Celebs Who Lean To The Right. And it's a longer list than you might think-

American celebrities who resist ubiquitous media and peer pressure to embrace so-called political correctness -often at risk to their careers- and actually think for themselves are surely to be commended. And while you probably knew that Clint Eastwood is no Hollywood liberal (and it's cost even him some recognition), there's some real surprises on here... like try rappers 50-Cent and LL Cool J.... Alice Cooper...and Kid Rock.

And punk-rock pioneer/guitarist Johnny Ramone was registered Republican? Wow, maybe that explains the oversized presidential seal the boys from Queens used to employ as a stage prop... and I thought they were being sarcastic!

Gotta wonder what his buddies at CBGB's thought of that-

Fish Project for Bloomin Artists Done!

The title is : Troubled Waters

Mixed Media on 20x24 canvas

Of course any one that knows me would know that I love to try to do something different than others. I decide not to use the base and the tree sticks, I mounted the fish and garbage onto a 20x24 canvas and used acrylic paint, I really enjoyed doing this project. It is hard to tell in the picture but the fish at the top is tangled in plastic (kind that comes on cans) and belly up. They auction these projects off also. I am not sure if anyone else will like it or get it, but that's OK if it does not sell i will be happy to bring it home. I think it is really sad what we have done to our planet. Animals and Fish have no say they just have to live (or die) with the fallout from what we do.
