Orlando Bloom is back as Legolas for ‘The Hobbit’

Orlando Bloom will be using again his bow and arrow as he is now officially reprising his role of Legolas in the upcoming two-part screen adaptation of "The Hobbit", a Lord of the Rings prequel.

Director Peter Jackson says (via Facebook):
"Ten years ago, Orlando Bloom created an iconic character with his portrayal of Legolas. I'm excited to announce today that we'll be revisiting Middle Earth with him once more. I’m thrilled to be working with Orlando again. Funny thing is, I look older—and he doesn’t! I guess that's why he makes such a wonderful elf."
After Bloom decided no to return for the fourth "Pirates" movie, many fans are surely glad this time around as his character as Legolas will be back in action in this two-part prequel.
