Kim Kardashian's Gorgeous Wedding Coverage

A rival to the Royal wedding, Kim Kardashian's lavish nuptials were covered in this week's issue of People magazine.

Fashion lover that she is, Kim didn't have just one dress or even two on the day, she head three - all designed by Vera Wang - the reason: Kim revealed: “I truly, up until two days before could not decide which to wear.”

After seeking advice from friends, family — and of course Wang herself — the choice was clear: Kardashian made her grand entrance in what she calls the “princess look” gown, a ball gown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on bodice and train.  Along with her Lorraine Schwartz headpiece, she wore a cathedral-length veil with hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué at the hem and a lightly shirred blusher layer.

For the first dance, Kardashian went with something completely different — the gown that ended up being “my favorite,” she says — a sexier, Georgette mermaid dress with hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on bodice. The skirt had hand-cut organza petals intermixed with Chantilly lace motifs and organza sprig embroidery.

And lastly, when it was time to party, Kardashian made her third and final change of the evening into a bias-cut crepe-back satin gown with v-neck and circle skirt.

She accessorized all three looks with custom Lorraine Schwartz jewels - the same designer as her huge engagement ring.

Kim's wedding plannner Sharon Sacks revealed that: "Kim loves black and white and so does Kris.  They have this Hollywood royalty feeling and the black and white represented formality. But tradition was very important to them."

With the color theme in mind, bridesmaids Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie all wore a white shade too.

If you can't get enough of the romantic do, check out the People issue, and E! News are also showing a two-part special, Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, on Oct. 9 and 10.

“He’s a big baby, 4.5 kilograms at birth, and I thought to myself, ‘I have so much more that I want to do aside from modeling. I can live with my body not being in shape if I have a healthy son. It’s worth it’.”

On what's important in her life: “I was working 18-hour days. Now the pace has slowed so I can spend the majority of my time with Flynn—we have a bath together every night. [I am] first a wife and a mother, and then comes work. When I work, it needs to be the best decision for us as a family.”

If, then, you feel, This is something that I want to do, then do it. It’s amazing that we have the technology to do the stuff that we do.”

On avoiding industry events - “Everyone blows sunshine up everyone else’s ass. I hate receiving compliments; I hate being told I’m talented or people think I’m going to be a movie star. I always feel that it’s forced and fake.”

AnnaLynne McCord does Shape Magazine

AnnaLynne McCord shows off her bod in a gorgeous pink L Space bikini on cover of the March 2010 issue of Shape magazine - and let's everyone in on some of her diet and excerise tips.

Here's a few extracts, check out the mag or shape.com for more -

Growing up in Georgia, AnnaLynne was surrounded by high-calorie foods. "It's all about butter, sugar, fried, and deep-fried," she said. Because of her crazy-busy schedule—she's on set at 6 a.m. most days and sometimes not in bed until 1 or 2 the next morning—breakfast is the only meal AnnaLynne eats at a normal time. Usually she has an egg sandwich or French toast-or both if she's really hungry. She tends to graze the rest of the day, grabbing a turkey and ham sandwich for lunch, a handful of red and green pepper strips with ranch dressing or cereal bars for a snack, and vegetable soup plus fish or chicken for dinner.

Talking about how she stays in shape AnnaLynne said: "When I first moved to LA, I didn’t have a lot of money to join a gym or take classes, so I improvised. My sister and I went to the library and looked over their DVD collection and discovered Neena and Veena, these Egyptian twins who have a whole series of belly dancing routines. We did them all. When you’re shaking your booty, you can’t help but feel beautiful and sexy."

And for more keep fit:
"With my unpredictable work hours, I rarely have time to exercise and have fun, so my idea of a good workout is to mix them both," she says. "I love being outdoors, playing beach tennis, going for runs in the sand, or doing a three-hour hike with my best girlfriend, Mieko." Three hours? "Yeah, we go to Runyon Canyon or some other hiking trail and just walk and talk for hours," she says. "It's our one-on-one time."

For anyone interested a brown version of AnnaLynne's bikini is on-line at bluefly.net.

2010 Golden Globe Awards - Red Carpet Color Trends

Nudes, Peaches and Neutrals were a big feature on the 2010 Golden Globes red carpet.

And Maggie Gyllenhaal was in her fruity shaded Roland Mouret.

Like with the peach, so many shades were worn the whole purple spectrum seemed to appear on the red carpet - from pale lilacs to deep amethysts.

Heidi Klum was in a subtle and pale lilacy shade with her princess-like Cavalli gown.

Jennifer Garner
was in a heavily bead embellished lilac.

Fergie went for lavendar in her strapless - and sadly rain speckled - gown.

Olivia Palermo in Grazia Magazine

Here is the last post before a short break over Christmas and it's a real treat, as Olivia Palermo gives Grazia magazine's special double issue some of her style, hair and beauty tips and secrets. A few extracts and highlights -

Signature Nail Color - "I haven't seen my natural nail color since I was a kid. I always make time for manicures. Red is classic and goes with everything. But if I want to be more on trend, it's black all the way." (Olivia uses Essie Nail Varnish, in Lollypop Red)

How she stays in shape - "I love Bikram yoga, which you do in a hot room. It's the perfect combination of cardio and stregth work".

On her hair - "This is all me, no extenstions. I keep it in good shape by using a really good conditioner and mask, and have learned how to do three styles that suit me; the bun, a loose twist and down and wavy, sometimes pinned at the sides.

Her handbag essential - "I always carry a small pot of baby powder with me to freshen up my skin, or my hair. A make-up artist told me to use it because it's finer than face powder. And it smells great." (Olivia uses Johnson's Baby Powder.)
