Eerste single van nieuw uit te komen album (derde alweer) van Deense band Efterklang. Magic Chairs wordt in februari op ons losgelaten. Tot die tijd deze veelbelovende eerste vid.
The name 'Efterklang' comes from the Danish word for remembrance or reverberation. Though it consists of four core members, the group regularly includes three or more members for live gigs and plays orchestral and experimental rock music. Formed in Copenhagen, its four core members are: Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen, Thomas Husmer and Rasmus Stolberg.

Natalia Vodianova somehow pulled off her pink and black mishmash ensemble which included a striped Louis Vuitton dress, studded clutch, ribbed over the knee socks and Vuitton heels.
And Spanish Senorita Elsa Pataky didn't look so great from the front but was a stunner from the back and side in her sheer-backed black dress with side embellishments.

Just a few days ago she was seen toting one of the bags and then, on January 27 Kate Moss was at a party at the Ritz in Paris to celebrate her new Longchamp collection. Kate was in a super chic outfit for the event wearing a leg lengthening Valentino Resort 2010 mini dress and a white cropped jacket. A perfect little clutch and Christian Louboutin pumps completed the look.

Elsa wore red (from the Spring 2010 collection) teamed with black peep-toe heels.
And completing the tricolor, although her dress is more grey than white, Olga was also in a Fall 2009 dress paied with black t-strap pumps.
Weeks ago I've received a phone call from one of my friends telling me that he bought "Cleo" magazine December issue because it had "Egypt SEX Bloggers, Homosexuals' online haven" big title on the cover so he joked around with his bf and told him that it will be so funny if he found my blog inside, and little did he know! I was there! he was shocked, called me directly and transmitted his shock to me!
I was so surprised when I heard the news, was excited but scared in the same time, told my bf, all my friends and readers about the great news via facebook and SMSs then it hit me! Am I going so far? Am I attracting wrong/un-necessary attention to my blog? Am I risking my anonymity? Is my freedom of speech jeopardized now?...then I said "FUCK IT"! I should enjoy my few minutes of fame, so I ran the next day to the nearest shop to buy the issue but to my surprise I was censored! The information bureau already noticed the issue and ordered the magazine to censor that report! But thankfully(and finally! :P) my friend scanned what was there for me, I guess the issue he bought was from the first edition:

Als je dertien bent snuffel je graag in de kamer van je grote broer. Als hij er niet is ga je als een ontdekkingsreiziger op zoek naar verborgen schatten. Ongeschoren vrouwen kijken mij vanuit de Playboy verlangend aan. Brooke Shields. Pamela Sue Martin en Dolly Parton.
Dat snuffelen doe je niet alleen aan zijn lectuur, maar ook aan zijn stereotoren. Het bloedbad dat mij is beloofd als ik met mijn fikken aan z’n torentje kom, maakt het draaien van zijn platen extra spannend. Supertramp, Kiss (een gekleurde LP), Tol Hansse, Kate Bush en alles van Jean Michel Jarre. Geinig, maar volledig de weg kwijt natuurlijk. Daarom heb ik zelf een LP van Herman Kelly gekocht. Percussion Explosion. Van het door opa in mijn handen gefrommelde tientje, met de geheimzinnige woorden ‘niemand zeggen, zakdoekje leggen’. De langspeler van Herman Kelly ligt in mijn piepkleine kamer voor het grijpen, maar grote broers snuffelen niet. Die zijn volledig in de ban van hun hormoonhuishouding en bijbehorende talgproduktie.
Tot ik op een dag, bovenaan de trap, wordt opgewacht door mijn broer. Zijn stereotoren staat nog aan. A declaration of war. Alle reden om mij achter zijn uitgebouwde Opel te binden. Nadat hij mij eerst flikflakkend van de trap had gescholden. Terwijl zijn donderpreek over mij heen drijft, zie ik tot mijn schrik dat de LP van Herman nog doodleuk op zijn pick up ligt. Dat heeft mijn grote broer nog niet gezien. Ingrijpen nu, anders heb ik gebroken beats. Ik bied nederig mijn excuses aan en lieg dat het eten beneden op tafel staat. Als hij na een halve minuut weer roodaangelopen en zwaar hijgend voor mij staat heb ik Herman Kelly gered, met mijn leven. De Opel wil niet starten.
Gekte, chaos, psychadelica, orgeltje, vreemde loops. Geinig dit nummer van de Londense band. Dat smaakt naar meer. Al weer een tijdje uit, nog niet echt opgepikt. Klik snel om dit nummer te ervaren.

Feeder bestaat stiekem al weer 18 jaar en komt dit jaar met een nieuwe plaat. Het is een indieband die er eigenlijk altijd wel is zonder echt op te vallen. Jammer eigenlijk, want er zitten wel pareltjes tussen hun songs. Renegades is de nieuwe single.
Feeder is already 18 years quietly doing what their good at: producing gripping indie songs. Didn't have a big breakthrough here in the flat land, but you'll never know what the future may bring. New album is coming up, Renegades is the first single.

There were lots of eyecatching looks at the event but Kristen really set herself apart as the leading lady wearing an elegant gown as opposed to a dress.
Her chocolate brown gown, with cut-out sides is from Monique Lhuiller's Spring 2010 collection.
She teamed it with Amrapali and Sutra jewelry and a Judith Leiber clutch.

The red carpet was quite packed with people at the When in Rome premiere, as they came out to join Kristen Bell and the other stars of the movie at the January 27, LA event.
Fergie, out to support hubbie, Josh Duhamel, who also appears in the movie, wore a black leather dress from Michael Kors, paired with some killer heels and a Cole Haan clutch.
This is a great look for Fergie but she suddenly faded into the background when compared to all the other bright colors and styles on the red carpet.
Kayla Ewell was gorgeous, if a little wind swept, in a bright red dress.
Alexis Dziena stood out in a bright green dress from Zac Posen's Spring 2010 collection.
Rose McGowan's ruffled frock instantly brought Chloe Sevigny's Golden Globes gown to mind, and indeed they are both Valentino.
She wore the flirty ruffles with Brian Atwood ankle strap pumps and a Raven Kauffman clutch. A blue version of Rose's peacock and flower design clutch is on-line atvivre.com.
Jennifer Stone wore a sweet pink Guess dress, along with metallic peep-toes.
And Chelsea Gilligan was peachy and pretty in a gold sequin embellished dress and well co-ordinated metallic accessories.
Also looking super bright at the premiere was Kristin Cavallari but I loved her look so much I gave it an item of its own.

Reese was elegant in a strapless lace overlay Jason Wu dress, paired with Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps.

Amber Rose is always a risk taker and she didn't let down on this occassion, wearing a hooded knit dress from Chanel's Fall 2009 collection.
Olga Kurylenko was simply chic in a Chanel jacket, basic tank, black satin trousers, peep-toes and co-ordinating nail polish.
No positive ID for Olga's trousers but you can get the look with ASOS's Numph Satin Pants, which even have the same inner ankle zip detail.
Alexa Chung kept with her chic preppy style in a creamy dress from Chanel's Spring 2010 collection, paired with black tights, towering clogs and a sweet floral print handbag. (Pretty sure most of Alexa's outfit is Chanel.)
Straight-up cheeseball dance for you today because, well... it's a Friday, and it's been a long day! Sweden's Star Pilots are coming off of a string of three fantastically overblown clubpop singles and now, after many months of waiting, we get to hear something new. As of now, I've gotta say this is the weakest of their singles. It's definitely got that huge Star Pilots sound, but the melody this time around is a bit lacking. And, let's face it, when it comes to cheesy pop music like this, the melody is key. Otherwise it ends up sounding far too much like everything else. Putting my quibbles aside, though, I still love this group's go-for-the-jugular, overblown sound. No one's going to accuse them of spectacular artistry, but that's not what this is about. This is about big for big's sake. Higher choruses, faster beats and a sense that you can do anything, even if it is only for a couple of minutes.
