Adrianne Palicki Joins Cast of "GI Joe 2: Cobra Strikes"

Actress Adrianne Palicki found herself in another action-hero role as she signed up for the upcoming G.I. Joe sequel "Cobra Strikes"!

In "GI Joe: Cobra Strikes", Adrianne will take on the lead female role as Lady Jaye (real name: Alison R. Hart-Burnett) -- G.I. Joe's covert operations specialist. She speaks several languages with special training in Airborne, Ranger and Intelligence.

The 28 year-old actress joins Channing Tatum (Duke), Ray Park (Snake Eyes), and Lee Byung-hun (Storm Shadow) plus new cast members Dwayne Johnson (Roadblock) D.J. Cotrona (Flint), RZA (Blind Master) and Elodie Yung (Jinx).

Jon M. Chu is directing this second installment.

Palicki was previously cast as the modern-day superheroine version of "Wonder Woman" but the pilot didn't get picked up.

Adrianne Palicki’s Wonder Woman In Action with costume modification

Adrianne Palicki is now making her superhero moves as the new Wonder Woman as she shoot action sequence for NBC-David E. Kelley upcoming TV series, “Wonder Woman” in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday (March 29).

Many criticized the new outfit with the blue boots when they initially released the first promo photo but it seems they made some costume modification. She and her stunt double are now wearing red boots and no more shiny pants.

Checkout Adrianne Palicki all dressed up in her sexy patriotic outfit as the new new modern-day superheroine version of "Wonder Woman"!

The NBC-David E. Kelley series described Wonder Woman aka Diana Prince as a "vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life."

Cary Elwes and Elizabeth Hurley (as Veronica Cale) are also attached to this series.

Adrianne Palicki is the new "Wonder Woman"

Actress Adrianne Palicki, who plays Tyra Collette on "Friday Night Lights", was cast as the new modern-day superheroine version of  "Wonder Woman" for NBC under David E. Kelley.

Official Statement: "The series pilot is a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman/Diana Prince is a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life."

Kelley is known for his work with the lawyer TV shows liked Ally McBeal, The Practice, and Boston Legal.

Lynda Carter remains the most memorable version of the character which aired from 1975-1979.

The question is --- Is Adrianne will be wearing the classic sexy patriotic star-spangled outfit or the new DC makeover which is now in full suit outfit?
