Just three weeks after releasing their latest smash hit single, “I Am The Best,” 2NE1 is back at it again for another round of promotions with the follow-up track, “Hate You.” If “I Am The Best” was 2NE1 doing what they are best at—heavy electronic instruments, powerful beats, and fierce lyrics—“Hate You” is a rather toned-down version of it. With softer beats and catchy melodies, albeit with their trademark swagger, “Hate You” is somewhat similar to the tunes of their previous hit track, “I Don’t Care.” (Although many would argue there’s less anger and violence in the latter).

Before jetting to Europe to play at Cherrytree London and Capitol FM's Summertime Ball, Far East Movement teamed up with painter Robert Vargas last Thursday eve at LA's artwalk to create a piece of art that can be best described as a "live mural music mash up" piece. Vargas painted a Far East Movement mural while the group jammed out a few of their hits, including their Beastie Boys' tribute "So What."
After Far East Movement appeared together with Vargas to start work on the mural, a large crowd of fans swelled quickly on the street, which caused the LAPD to come in with sirens blaring and shut down part of 5th Street. Police officers helped control the chaos and let Far East Movement and Vargas continue their work while giving onlookers space to see the performance (video).
The live mural music mash up is such a cool and fantastic idea that fits both Far East Movement and Vargas perfectly. Both grew up in downtown Los Angeles and have been inspired by the area's gritty yet colorful and open-minded surroundings.
In fact, like I've written before, Far East Movement's all-inclusive, free wired mashing of styles to create an edgy, yet mainstream-friendly aesthetic was inspired by their downtown roots and is now reflected in their music, look and artistic attitude. Watch a video of Far East Movement and Vargas' mural after the break.
“Wet” is the fourth official promotional music video and single (and the second U.S. single), from American singer-songwriter Nicole Scherzinger‘s debut studio album, Killer Love.

The track was produced by StarGate and written with Sandy Vee.
“Wet” is best described as a “party playlist essential” thanks to it’s throbbing base and electronic beats. It was described, by Phillip Ellwood from Entertainment Focus, as the best of the up-tempos.
“Moves Like Jagger” is the latest single by Maroon 5 featuring Adam Levine‘s co-mentor on the hit reality competition “The Voice,” Christina Aguilera.

On July 9, Aguilera posted an image of herself from the video shoot via Twitter, saying, “Always great to see Jonas Akerlund. He created the perfect feel for the song. Expect a fun video.” The image showed Aguilera performing with a band in front of a background of the American flag. Four shirtless images of Levine from the shoot were also released online the same day. More images from the video shoot were released online on July 11, showing Levine and Aguilera performing in front of an American and English-themed backdrop with confetti falling from the ceiling. Another image showed Aguilera performing in front of a black backdrop with her name “Christina” shown in pink.
