Lady Gaga gave her male alter ego 'Joe Calderone' the center stage at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday (August 28).

The 25-year-old singer delivered a pre-performance monologue via her bad-ass male image character. Calderone angrily talks about the bizarre ways being with Lady Gaga which is hilariously funny!!!

Lady Gaga performed "You and I" with a special guest, Brian May from Queen.

Alter ego Jo Calderone On Lady Gaga's “You And I” Cover Art

Known for her bizarre and distinct fashion, singer Lady Gaga has decided to switched genders for her cover artwork for new single 'Yoü and I'!

Returning to the scene is Gaga's male alter-ego Jo Calderone, who is looking bad-ass with her Bob Dylan—styled image while smoking a cigarette.

“You will never find what you are looking for in love, if you don’t love yourself,” she tweeted along with the cover picture.

Jo Calderone popped up last year when Lady Gaga posed for a series of photos for renowned photographer Nick Knight. The photos appeared in a men’s fashion editorial for the September issue of Vogue Hommes Japan.

Mother Monster also revealed that 'Yoü and I' music video would be her 1,000th Tweet.

Meanwhile, Lady GaGa is currently facing copyright infringement allegation over her single "Judas". Rebecca Francescatti accused the 25-year-old pop star of ripping off her 1999 track 'Juda'.

Lady Gaga will once again add some flavor of criticism and advice to the young performers as she will be appearing on an upcoming episode of 'So You Think You Can Dance.'

SYTYCD judge/Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe confirmed that Lady Gaga will be a guest judge on the said talent competition.

Not her first time in this kind of gig,  she served as contestant mentor on American Idol season 10. Her  session with the very conservative Scotty McCreery became the unforgettable highlight of the show.

The highly controversial "Judas" music video is now out featuring Lady Gaga as a biker girl Mary Magdelene.

Controversial scenes includes Gaga's involving gold thorn crown wearing Jesus and Judas (Norman Reedus). Catholic conservatives continues to criticized her new project.

Defending her song and the video, Lady Gaga told E! Online:

"I don't view the video as a religious statement. I view it as a social statement. I view it as a cultural statement. It's a metaphor," she insisted. "It's not meant to be a biblical lesson."

The video was directed by Gaga and her creative director/choreographer Lauriann Gibson.

“Judas” is from her upcoming studio album "Born This Way", which is due on May 23.

Lady GaGa’s Tattoos: All On Her Left Side

Not all things related to her are bizarre. Lady GaGa also wants some balance especially in her body. She's keeping one side of her body, Normal.

The 24 year-old singer reveals that she puts all her tattoos on the left side of her body to keep the other side ordinary.

"It was actually per my father's request," she said. "He asked that I remain, on one side, slightly normal."

Another intriguing revelation. It is good that she still reserve a space to herself to be normal.

Lady Gaga duets with 10-year-old Maria Aragon “Born This Way” (Video)

The happiness of YouTube sensation Maria Aragon is surely sky high after her dream duet with Lady Gaga was fulfilled at the 2011 Monster Ball Tour in Toronto, Canada (March 3).

During the show, the 10-year-old Filipino-Canadian took a seat in Gaga’s lap at the piano and they performed “Born This Way”. [Video Below]

The young singer became an instant YouTube sensation after singing her rendition of "Born This Way"! Lady Gaga was deeply touched and amazed with her performance and with just a single tweet from her, the uploaded video by Aragon became viral.
