White Peony Watercolor Painting - Update 5

I am still working on my peony, not as often as I would like. It is still not close to being done, hopefully I will be able to give it more of my attention. I have also been busy experimenting with acrylic and paper, also mounting and varnishing watercolor and acrylic used as watercolor. I will post some of my pieces hopefully tomorrow when I get a chance. I am also busy painting for a solo show in the spring of 2012. I just finished this tonight, I am glad to be done. I found it challenging with the acrylic, but kept going and finally finished it. Now I can start some new ones :) Happy Painting everyone!

I worked some more on this one and the dog. It is getting closer to being done, still a lot left to do on the eggs.

I have worked more on the egg cups and started the eggs. This still has a long ways to go but I am enjoying the acrylics. I am also coming along with the dog ornament from Japan, I will post the WIP after this one is done.

I darkened the background down a bit more, worked on the fabric and started to work on the egg cups. These egg cups were made by Foley Pottery, Mr Foley was a well known potter in the Saint John area, he has passed away many years ago. They hold sentimental value for me as when I was young my family lived with him as my mother used to care for him. He was a very wise and kind man.
