Claire Danes in Flowery Vuitton

Winner at the Golden Globes and now at the SAGs, Claire Danes picked up the Best TV Actress Award for her role in Temple Grandin last night (January 30).

Claire opted for a Louis Vuitton dress that had bold print and hand-stitched silk flower appliqués all over.  

She teamed the ultra feminine gown with unseen Roger Vivier sandals, and elegant jewels courtesy of Fred Leighton

Claire Danes' 2011 Golden Globes Look


Temple Grandin nominee and winner Claire Danes kept it simple in a Calvin Klein sheath as she picked up her award at the Golden Globes on January 16.

Emma Stone also wore one of the simple dresses from the CK collection but Claire beat her in the best dressed stakes going for a bolder and more flattering shade with her pretty pink.  

Accessories were unseen Roger Vivier sandals, and a gold clutch; plus diamond studs and a gold cuff from Fred Leighton.

Claire Danes's Sparkling Emmys Armani Look

Claire Danes was stunning in decollete to floor sparkles at the Emmys in her Swarovski crystal-covered Armani Privé gown.

Anyone looking for a similar show-stopping sparkle style, there is the silver embellished evening gown from edressme.com; it costs $550.00, sounds expensive but usually with super glitz comes a super-high price tag.

Jessica, Claire and Gwyneth in Valentino

Jessica Alba and Gwyneth Paltrow were both turned on the glamour for the Valentino Garavani Archives dinner party during Paris Fashion Week.

The pair were both in romantic creations from the design house, Jessica in a ruffled red and pale pink accented gown. The well-matched tulle clutch was also from Valentino.

Gwyneth, posing with the designer, was in a lighter shade with her sweeping pale light chiffon dress from the Fall 2010 collection.


Claire Danes was also at the event but amped up the color with her neon yellow tiered gown from the Spring 2010 Couture collection.

2010 Met Styles - More Color Trends

More of the color themes from the Metropolitan's Costume Institute Gala Benefit for American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity held on May 3 in New York City.

Pink - a little similar to the neutral trend, and yeah it does have a few of the dresses from the neutral feature but they fit with pink too as the shades ranged from palest blush to barbie pink and berry.

Kate Hudson's Stella McCartney dress was embellished with lots of sparkle and co-ordinated perfectly with her Casadei platform pumps.

Alessandra Ambrosio in her Versace (again). The shimmery gown was paired with sparkling Lorraine Schwartz earrings and cuff.

Jessica Alba was extremely elegant in her dusky rose shaded satin dress from designer Sophie Theallet.

January Jones in her bold pink and black Yves Saint Laurent dress matched with long black gloves and classic pumps.

Rachel Weisz in her strapless bright pink dress. And Naomi Watts in her regal looking Stella McCartney bow-shouldered gown, which was matched with metallic gold clutch and Christian Louboutin heels.

Shades of blue began with Doutzen Kroes' Zac Posen gown.

Coco Rocha could have fitted into a few color spectrums with her watercolor gown, also from Zac Posen.

Christina Hendricks made the most of her assetts in a v-neck dress from L'Wren Scott complete with huge floral detail on the shoulder.

Amber Valetta was all elegance in her Roland Mouret dress and diamonds. Emmy Rossum opted for a cobalt shade. Blake Lively also went blue in her ruffled Marchesa mini dress.

And Mariska Hargitay and Sienna Miller were at the darker end of the scale with their petrol and navy blue dresses.

Jennifer Lopez was a sparkling diva in her Zuhair Murad silver gown.

Marion Cotillard was covered in sprakles all over wearing an Haute Couture Christian Dior creation.

Maggie Grace was elegant in strapless grey. Fellow TV star, Kristen Bell also opted for strapless grey with her Diane von Furstenberg design.

Nicole Richie was in Marc Jacobs sequins.

And Claire Danes opted for a dark grey metallic dress, custom-made by Burberry.

Star Styles at the Chopard Gala

A whole host of glam stars were out in New York on April 29 for the Chopard's 150 Years of Excellence Gala.

Kate Hudson wore Lanvin, opting for a blue-grey shaded dress from the Pre-Fall 2010 collection and some dove grey platform pumps from Casadei.

Gwyneth Paltrow was out for another event and wore a dress so risque she had to wear another full length nude gown undeneath it.
The lace Antonio Berardi design was so sheer on the runway it left little to the imagination.

Christina Ricci brought a real touch of color in her bright green James Galanos dress.

And Claire Danes was lovely in her champagne shaded dress, which, like Kate's, was from the Lanvin Spring 2010 collection.

Emmy, Jessica and Claire at the 2010 Museum Dance

Emmy Rossum at the 2010 AMNH Museum Dance held at the American Museum of Natural History on April 15.

Emmy wore a sparkle topped dress from the Luca Luca Fall 2010 collection.

For a similar, and affordable, look like Emmy's try pairing the grey chiffon $24.99 Arden B skirt with a black top and some simple black peep-toes.

Model Jessica White was stunning in a grey strapless gown - it looks very similar in style to Zoe Saldana's Givenchy Oscars gown but I'm not sure on the designer.

And Claire Danes wore the same pink Zac Posen for Target gown that she wore to the collection's party the same night.

Star Style at the Posen for Target Launch

A number have already been seen wearing items from it and on April 15 a few stars came out for the launch of the Zac Posen for Target Collection party held in New York.

Mena Suvari wore a leather jacket with the Zac Posen for Target t-shirt.


Claires Danes was bright and pretty in her pink printed dress from the collection, worn with a black belt which made it a little easier on the eyes.

Sessilee Lopez also went for pink in the same little dress that Nicky Hilton was spotted in earlier this month.

The Zac Posen for Target collection will be available from April 25th.

Star Styles at the Burberry Prorsum Show

Just like the Love Ball loads of stars seemed to come out for the Burberry Prorsum Fashion Show in London on February 23.

Kate Hudson was a real stunner in a shimmering forest green Burberry mini dress and platform sandals from the designer. Claire Danes wore Burberry to the BAFTAs and Elle Style Awards and continued to do so here as well.Mary-Kate Olsen add a few bright touches to her dark look with a petrol blue clutch and bright red-orange bangles over her leather gloves.

Olivia Palermo didn't wear much Burberry, instead opting for a sequined Tibi A/W 2010 jacket, black leather skirt, Kurt Geiger heels and a Mulberry handbag.

More Styles from the 2010 Elle Style Awards

Some more of the outfits from the 2010 Elle Style Awards held in London on February 22.

Claire Danes wore a sleek Burberry dress with lacy sleeves and teamed it with some towering platform pumps.

Leona Lewis went for a touch of Parisian chic in a black Alexander McQueen dress and Philip Treacey beret.

And while Claire might have played it safe and Leona went all chic there were lots of bold and bright outfits at the awards too.

Naomi Campbell continued her homage to Alexander McQueen in one of his snake print designs.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was a super glam goddess in a red Christian Dior gown and fur capelet.

Agyness Deyn was in a black and blue House of Holland design complete with matching blue furry handbag.And Nicola Roberts opted for a shocking pink Vanessa Bruno blazer and shorts combo, plus some strappy black heels.

Kate and Claire's Elegant BAFTA Looks

Kate Winslet and Claire Danes at the 2010 BAFTA Awards in London on February 21.

The winner of last year's Best Actress Award kept in very simple in a modified Stella McCartney dress, with just two mesh inlays to set it and a subtle slit to set it apart from your average black gown. Claire was one of the most elegant stars of the night in a silky custom-made Burberry gown, glossy red lips and Tiffany's diamonds.

Claire Danes in Dolce & Gabbana

Claire Danes at the premiere of her new film, Temple Grandin, held in New York City on January 26.

Claire added an amazing touch to her little black D&G dress with a st
unning ruby red crystal belt, also from Dolce & Gabbana.

Christian Louboutin peep-toes completed the look.

Black Dresses at the Critics Choice Awards

Red was a popular color but black seemed to be the color of choice at the Critics Choice Awards on Friday.

Kristen Bell went for a little black v-neck dress from Prada.

Anna Kendrick, fresh from the AFI luncheon the same day, decided on something more glam for this occassion, wearing a black, floor-sweeping Elie Saab gown.

Shia LaBeouf's gal pal Carey Mulligan, who was up for the Best Actress award, wore a bold golden necklace with her Marni gown and clutch.

Abbie Cornish went for a simple sheath from the Elie Saab Spring 2010 collection, plus equally simple clutch bag and Bally heels.

The lovely Claire Danes wore a sheer shouldered J. Mendel dress, as she took to the stage to present an award with Zachary Quinto.

And co-Best Actress Award winner, Sandra Bullock opted for something with a little added sparkle, in an embellished and fringe skirted Alberta Ferretti dress, teamed with Casadei pumps.
