Ron Artest's motivation for Dancing with The Stars

Los Angeles Lakers enforcer Ron Artest will be shaking his hips for the upcoming season 13 of ABC's Dancing with The Stars. Artest is deeply focus and motivated to do this gig because of his daughter, who is cancer survivor.

Artest told PEOPLE at DWTS cast announcement, "At first it was not appealing. I did not want to do it. I don't dance and all of the dressing up and everything, but my daughter Diamond was like, Daddy, you should do it."

The 31-year-old NBA star wants to make an impact and portion of the profits that he will earned will go to a great cause.

"I had a chance to play basketball overseas and I had a chance to do Dancing with the Stars," Artest says. "She asked me to do it, and I thought I could dance and raise some money for cancer research. I'm going to donate the profits."

Great idea!!! Respect to the man.

Krusada: Henry-Omaga Diaz reexamined the Manila Hostage Crisis

One year after tragic shameful event that gave the Philippines a bad reputation in handling hostage crisis situation will be reexamined by Henry-Omaga Diaz in ABS-CBN's “Krusada”. 

The incident showed the world how the local police failed to deliver a strategic operation plan plus the lack of proper equipment. The hostage-taking incident at Quirino Grandstand in Manila took the lives of eight tourists from Hongkong.

This episode airs Thursday (August 25) after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN.

TBS Cancels George Lopez's talk show 'Lopez Tonight'

TBS drops a bomb on George Lopez as the network reached a decision to cancel the 'Lopez Tonight' show. Thursday night will be the official final episode.

TBS's statement: “TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight. Thursday will be the final episode of the show. We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all of his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air."

In the first season back in 2009, Lopez handled the 11 PM time slot and was bumped to midnight when Conan O'Brien's show Conan came after the highly buzz O'Brien-Leno-NBC triangle.

The ratings of Lopez Tonight continues to goes down so the network decided to cut the show.

Lopez is the first Mexican American to host a late-night talk show on an English-language network in the United States.

GMA-7’s Koreanovela "Big Thing" airs August 8

GMA-7 will be parading tonight the Koreanovela that received the most trophies in the 2010 SBS Drama Awards. Discover the extraordinary courage of a woman who defies and conquers the dirty world of politics in the "Big Thing"! [Trailer Below]

Starring Korean actress Ko Hyun Jung, who portrayed Lady Mishil in Queen Seon Deok. This time, however, she is no longer the villain but is now the main protagonist of the story.

Kwon Sang Woo, who is popularly known as Cholo of Stairway to Heaven, also makes a comeback and plays as a prosecutor named Edward Ha.

The story of Big Thing tells of Maureen’s (Ko Hyun Jung) rise to power as the first female president of South Korea. She started as a TV announcer who protested against the government because of her husband’s death in the hands of terrorists.

Two men aide her to succeed in politics: Edward, her friend who secretly loves her; and Victor Kang (Cha In Pyo), the congressman who urged her to run for president for his own ambitions.

Can Maureen survive the difficult and sometimes dirty world of politics? Whom should she trust? Is there a room for love in her life – both as a single mom and as a head of state?

Ashton Kutcher is an Internet billionaire in "Two and a Half Men"

Pumping up the new season of "Two and a Half Men", CBS revealed the intriguing details on the new character which will be played by Ashton Kutcher.

Kutcher will play the character Walden Schmidt ---- an Internet billionaire with a broken heart. No blood relations to the other characters.

It was initially reported that Charlie Sheen's character as Charlie Harper will be killed off in the first episode of the upcoming season. It will feature funeral scene in which CBS entertainment chief Nina Tassler would neither confirm nor deny.

The hit sitcom premieres Monday, Sept. 19, at 9 p.m. on CBS.

Ryan Murphy Clears Up 'Glee' Rumors, Possible Spin-Off

Ending the drama and confusion about the graduation plans which first revealed by Glee creator Ryan Murphy. Glee fans can now relax about their favorite Glee members exiting the show as the series creator is now setting the record straight ---- No one got fired and a possible spin-off project.

First, it was revealed that original cast members like Chris Colfer, Lea Michele, and Cory Monteith, would be graduating at the end of the upcoming season and won't be back on the show for a fourth season. Some actors was surprised about the development but last weekend, Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk noted that the Glee members will still stay on the show.

Putting out the fire about the conflicting casting news, Murphy told Deadline that initial story setup is a spin-off based at New York City’s Juilliard School but it failed to push through due to schedules.

"When I say they’re seniors and they’re not coming back to the show, what I did not say is they’re not coming back to the show because there will be another show. What Brad [Falchuk] said this weekend at Comic-Con is now correct: they’re graduating. What we wanted is to get people away from this idea that the actors were fired which is ludicrous. Nobody was fired. They were talked to for months about the show."

The reactions and the immediate response from the actors about being fired and finding out via Twitter.

“I think that some of those actors’ representatives spun it in a certain way, to be quite honest, I don’t understand. We weren’t allowed to talk about a spin-off. It was too premature. We didn’t want to do it then. The idea was to do it this fall when ‘Glee’ gets back on the air. Then, to pick up and read the actors saying, ‘We found out we were fired from Twitter.’ All of us, the studio, the network, were like, ‘OK, that isn’t exactly cool,’ because we involved all three of them in that decision.”

Many Gleeks are surely happy right now with the latest development. They must study this carefully about this future spin-off. It is a challenge for the creators to build a solid script.
