The incoming Republican House Ethics Committee is already telling the Obama Administration to prepare to be investigated (highlights mine/WOIA via Lonely Conservative)... it's a whole different ballgame now:

The San Antonio, TX Congressman who is in line to become chairman of the powerful House Judiciary Committee is promising 'a number of investigations and oversight committee actions' which he vows will 'hold the administration accountable,’

Veteran Republican Lamar Smith, a Yale graduate and social conservative who grew up in the brush country of south Texas which is now transit point for illegal immigrants and drugs, said in a news conference that a number of issues will come into the sights of his committee when he takes the chairmanship in January, from cracking down on child pornography to taking the Obama Administration to task for failing to do enough to protect the southern border. 

Smith says it is his Constitutional duty. "Part of that checks and balances is in fact holding the administration accountable, is in fact insisting on more transparency, is insisting on more honesty, and getting the facts," Smith said. "Right now, because of the one party monopoly, the Administration has been able to dodge any kind of supervision, any kind of oversight committee action, and they refuse to testify, and that is no longer acceptable."

And on the verge of the GOP obtaining something they haven't enjoyed for years -congressional subpeona powers- the Chicago racketeers currently occupying the Oval Office have already been warned don't even think about shredding any docs...

Republicans are likely to urge the Obama administration not to shred documents as they transition to the House majority. Before the election, GOP officials on Capitol Hill privately discussed the issue but refrained from publicly tackling it, not wanting to assume what would happen on Election Day.

 

Now that Republicans will control the House, the shredding matter will move front and center. …Darrell West, a political scientist and director of governance studies at the Brookings Institution, said Republicans likely will formally ask the administration not to shred or delete any relevant documents that could be requested in a congressional probe. “That’ll happen right away, because they want to make sure that the documentary record is preserved so that they have something to investigate,” said West. 

So at long-last let justice -and papers- be served!

Panicked ACORN Caught Dumping Mountains of Documents

As reported at Brietbart's Big Government (h/t Left Coast Rebel), the San Diego chapter of corrupt Alinskyite racketeers ACORN have now been caught dumping reams of documents prior to California AG Jerry Brown's visit to their offices, and just as an investigation was launched against them- nice, eh? Of course they're already busily cooking-up a BS excuse that only a child would believe...

If this country allows Barack Obama -who has been deeply involved with ACORN for over a decade- to distance himself from this band of leftist weasels -as he has previously done with Blagojevich, Rezko, Ayers, and Wright- then we have only ourselves to blame as the Dear Leader marches-forward with his complete destruction of the American society and position in the world for the next three long years.

The fact is that Barack Obama is very much connected to ACORN, they had a lot to do with him getting elected, and were more than a little-bit ready to manipulate the 2010 census on the government's dime... until they got caught on tape counseling pimps and hookers on how to avoid taxes. Meanwhile, Obama and Pelosi had steered every possible federal dollar their way.

So we need some answers on what the connection is, and NOW... as Obama's promptly attempting to cover-up his ACORN tracks as we speak. His fingerprints are so all-over this one, so it's hard to imagine how his attorney can ever wipe them all... but that hasn't stopped them from trying.

Did ACORN Elect Al Franken?

At least one Minnesota newspaper has raised the possibility... and actually, it's hard to imagine how they wouldn't have been deployed to help the Dear Leader get his supermajority- isn't it?

The Twin-Cities' Katherine Kersten writes in today's Star-Tribune:

ACORN was once the darling of Democrats for its support of every item on the left-wing wish list. Suddenly, its employees can hardly find a Democrat who will answer their phone calls. When the U.S. Senate voted on Sept. 14 to cut off federal housing dollars for ACORN, the tally was a lopsided 83-7.

ACORN's foibles may seem largely irrelevant here in Minnesota, where the organization has so far been able to keep its nose relatively clean.

But ACORN does have a special place in its heart for at least one prominent Minnesota politician. Last year, it showered praise on Al Franken, endorsing his run for the U.S. Senate. Franken returned the esteem: "I'm thrilled and honored to receive this endorsement," he gushed in a press release. He added that he was "more motivated than ever to work with ACORN."...

It's worth recalling, however, that ACORN is best-known for its massive voter-registration campaigns, which focus relentlessly on getting Democrats elected in targeted states. Here its record is appalling -- and goes to the heart of our democratic electoral system...

ACORN's practices can make fraud difficult to detect. For example, "at election offices around the country, ACORN workers are famous for waiting until registration deadline to dump thousands of new documents on overworked clerks -- making it harder for them to fully vet the registration forms,"....

Here in Minnesota, ACORN has boasted of playing a major role in the 2008 elections. It claims to have registered 43,000 new voters, which it describes as 75 percent of the state's new registrations. Franken's margin of victory in the Senate race was razor-thin: 312 votes out of about 3 million cast. And Minnesota's laws on proof of voter eligibility are notoriously loose.

Did ACORN folks pull some fast ones to help get their favorite son Franken elected -- a win that handed Democrats the 60-vote, veto-proof majority that they needed to enact their liberal agenda?

The Gateway Pundit just put up some video of angry Pennsylvanian patriots surrounding busloads of ACORN Astroturf squads who were schlepped-in to support politically-feeble, sniveling turncoat Senator Arlen Specter.
