DNC/Team Obama Caught Fomenting Collective Bargaining War in Wisconsin

Chairman Zero's latest shameful attempt to scar this society with lasting divisions across socio-economic lines for his own political benefit involves Organizing for America, the astroturf rabble-rousing organization created for Team Obama by now WH advisor David Plouffe in 2008, and currently  operated as an arm of the Democratic National Committee...

The Democratic National Committee's Organizing for America arm -the remnant of the 2008 Obama campaign- is playing an active role in organizing protests against Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's attempt to strip most public employees of collective bargaining rights. 

...OfA Wisconsin's field efforts include filling buses and building turnout for the rallies this week in Madison, organizing 15 rapid response phone banks urging supporters to call their state legislators, and working on planning and producing rallies, a Democratic Party official in Washington said. 

Other key figures in the Left's unholy alliance are also doing their duty, i.e. the Teamster's Grand Palooka Richard Trumka storming-off to the front on the Rust Belt to crush the unions' class enemies- he's speaking in Madison at Noon today.

But House Speaker Rep John Boehner sharply criticized the Obama Administration's siding with the unions to pressure Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker with street mobs... as well he should: not only were the GOP handed a 60+ seat gain to put the brakes on the Obammunists' leftward lurch, but Boehner's own state of Ohio is next in the union/hopenchange cross-hairs. 

Moonbattery summed it up succinctly (highlights mine):

In the clear choice between pathologically greedy teachers unions on one side, and the children who are going untaught and their bled-dry taxpaying parents on the other, where did you expect Comrade Obama to come down? 

In addition to whatever backroom machinations are taking place, the Manchurian Moonbat publicly splashed gasoline on the flames by denouncing Governor Walker's acknowledgment of fiscal reality as "an assault on unions." 

Elect a man whose only real political experience is as a "community organizer" (i.e., Marxist rabble-rouser), and you would be a fool to expect anything else...

GOP Fund-Raising Soars in August

As reported in USA Today, Republican campaign committees outraised Democrats by $1.7 million in August as donations pour-in amid the rancorous debate over health care.

The GOP also held an edge over Democrats in the amount of money available... as both parties set the stage for the 2010 mid-terms with over 35+ competitive House and Senate seats up-for-grabs.

This major spike in GOP fundraising is unusual in that normally the party in power — whether Democrat or Republican — has typically raised more than the opposition's fundraising committees in August.

In the Senate, where Republicans are far outnumbered, their fundraising committee collected $3.1 million last month, compared to just $2.2 million by the Democratic committee. It was the second month in a row that the Senate GOP committee outperformed Democrats — bringing its fundraising total for the year to $26.5 million, just $1 million less than the Democrats.

Brian Walsh, spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said the committee has attracted more than 70,000 first-time donors this year- "There are a lot of independents who may have voted for Obama who are now saying, 'This type of big government spending is not what we signed up for'."

The Republican National Committee (RNC) also had a fundraising bump in August, bringing in $1 million more than their rivals at the DNC...

Sen Ted Kennedy Passes-Away at 77

Well, I do feel sorry for him and his family... while no fan, to be sure. And I'll say a prayer for Ted Kennedy and the rest of the clan (am Irish, after all)- I hope that you do to. It's tough, especially with the star-crossed Kennedy's history- I just went through all that with mine, and it's a drag.

Both Michelle Malkin and Jay at Stop the ACLU are correct in saying that exercising some restraint verbally and politically on our side is advisable... whilst on-the-ropes statist opportunists surely attempt to weld ObamaCare passage to "honoring" Teddy... or whatever. Besides the fact that we conservatives should show some class here, America could really use an example of moral clarity at this point in time- and they're not going to get it from the Left.

That said, Teddy Kennedy was a moral black hole.

As noted by Carol at No Sheeples Here, this man was a complete and utter fraud as leader of any kind, but long promoted as a poster-child for limousine liberal's noblesse oblige none-the-less. Kennedy's far-left, liberal influence on the laws of this land also did -and continues to do- far more damage than good. I don't know if he was an evil man, but oft-tipsy Teddy was a comprehensively irresponsible and selfish fake with a seriously-tweaked moral compass. And he had NO business preaching to anyone about anything to do with ethics or "social justice"- please.

But he did it anyway, and for decades- even after he committed carelessly cold manslaughter in an act of mind-boggling selfishness and poor judgement. He then dispensed relentless liberal drivel in the Senate because it was his best professional option, and they let him off the hook. If nobody that mattered to his political career cared... why should he? Like they say, great work if you can get it.

But the hugely damaging DNC/MSM formula of bringing-to-power undeserving and untalented hacks like Kennedy who possess some marketable quality-while concealing their past and granting them a license to kill- has repeated itself with already-disastrous results in the ascension of the unscrupulous Dear Leader today. For this reason, RS McCain is doing a VERY good thing in keeping Kennedy's true character in front of everyone, while stripping-away 40 years'-worth of disgraceful MSM spin. Plainly, this country can't afford mass amnesia and/or wishful thinking regarding it's leadership anymore... just look where it's gotten us.

If the embarassing failure to foist yet another unqualified Kennedy on the Senate earlier this year -and/or Hillary's political neutering- wasn't the end of these DNC shams and their enablers... then the pending economic nightmare of a gruesome double-dip recession coupled to 10+% inflation -all brought on by the DNC's latest profligate Golden Boy- ought to finally do the trick.

Or so you'd think. Alas, millions of fools now act like 9/11 just never happened. There's never any paucity of these willingly deluded slush-heads that Democrats peddle their self-perpetuating version of reality to. And as-long as the DNC enjoys a monopoly in this durable market... who needs a quality product?

Fresh off a masterful dicing-and-slicing of the Obamapologist yentas on The View, Michelle told Hannity why the DNC/Team Obama's bizarre allegation -that the RNC was deploying "K-Street funded mobs" to disrupt town hall meetings and other events- is the epitome of hypocrisy... and why there is likely soon to be a huge public backlash against this mother-of-all-smear-campaigns.

Team Obama's latest Alinskyite political assault comes as some on the left have taken to labeling even nuanced opposition to the misguided Obamacare proposal as "disinformation", "far-right-wing", even "hate radio" [h/t: Stop Socialism Now].

Partisan bully-boy-ballerina Rahm Emanuel was called-out publicly by Rep Darryl Issa (R-Ca) for knocking Capital Hill heads together in a desperate effort to harvest political souls. Meanwhile, President Obama and the DNC were deploying an unsettling Orwellian campaign asking people to turn-in to a White House website any "fishy" emails or blogposts that dare to challenge the Dear Leader's omnipotence. [h/t: Maggie's Farm] The administration's desperation as Obamania implodes is palpable.

And it seems as though the hypocrites of the Democratic Party are merely projecting: you'd have to have been living in a cave in North Korea for the last year to have not noticed where the real paid-mobs are coming from... both on the ground, and on the internet. Team Obama's appalling Soros-seeded astroturf programs are a lot of things... but subtle isn't one of them. These faux-grassroots efforts -such as door-to-door Obamacare canvassing and battalions of internet trolls- have been largely ineffective in the face of growing popular resentment of The One's taking a sledgehammer to this society.

Hope-n-Change brownshirts of ACORN are now getting close to actual physical confrontation [h/t: Moonbattery] with what are just normal American citizens involved in healthy participatory democracy. You have to wonder how anyone could still believe Barack Obama as he purports to be "post-partisan", "bi-partisan", and "interested in listening to opposing views" -please. Rather, he's here to ram a heavily-seasoned crap sandwich down our throats as fast as we can swallow... while lying about most anything that suits his purposes and aggressively attacking opponents Chicago hardball style. Many are figuring this out as the ether finally wears off- and they come to realize that it's un-American the way the Obama-Pelosi-Reid triumvirate operates.



Ultra-liberal pedal-to-the-metal Obama has unecessarily aroused a largely silent opposition with his power grabs... betraying poor judgement and political instinct. We've got our new Patrick Henry's in Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin, et. al.- and they're bringing the truth The Left try so hard to depress, deflect, and obsfucate. Those who felt resigned to their fate under an Obama Administration are starting to speak up- and as we see now, exposing themselves to the wrath of the disingenuous Obama machine. It wasn't enough apparently, simply attacking and painting with a broad brush right-leaning Obama critics in the media such as Hannity and Limbaugh- Obama has now turned the DNC character-assasination guns on the American electorate.... and it's not going to win him any new friends in this country.

This shameful episode should make clear to anyone still giving Obama the benefit of the doubt just what this far-left elitist thinks of your opinion. Note that whenever Obama, Emanuel, or Gibbs are asked about why polls show so many people oppose the Cap-n-Trade and Obamacare proposals, they always segue right-into "we need to educate the public...".

And just keep digging- Americans have had just about enough of your wack-pack cabinet, dubious tactics, and habitual dishonesty... and after the failure of the Porkulus bill to stimulate anything but inflation, IMO the Democrats will be decimated in midterms 15 mos. from now. In short, you blew it... and are only making things worse by smearing good-faith opposition. Even Bill Clinton had the sense to hire Dick Morris and moderate his policies in 1994, working the the GOP in a way that got him re-elected easily... but not this crew- apparently it's Revolution-or-Death this time.

Barack and Rahm like to think of themselves as sharp-elbowed, street-smart operators always on the offensive- but this hubristic pair of Chi-Town hustlers don't handle the pressure so well now that they're on the other-end-of-the-hose. With the unprecedented goodwill he came to DC with, all Obama had to do was be mediocre really, smile alot, and play to the narrative that he's doing his best to fix "Bush's" mess. Instead, he has stepped-in-it big-time, his political momentum promptly evaporating... a monumental wasted opportunity for this myopic would-be revolutionary.
