Some Advice for Sarah Palin...

Seems there are some useful political lessons for the Arctic Fox in the Hutchinson vs. Perry gubernatorial contest in Texas, as told by Stacy "The Other McCain" McCain... and he thinks he might have found the guy who can get her all dialed-in:

If I were Sarah Palin... I'd look good in Manolo pumps, but let's not go there. (These hypotheticals always get me in trouble.)

Seriously, however, if I were Sarah Palin, I'd seek out the advice of Dick Armey...

And why the relentless and shameful smear campaign by the American Left against the Killa from Wasilla... what started all this, anyway?

Well, a primary issue would be the fact that Palin was the first to call Obama on his lack of qualifications and experience at the GOP convention... and they've never forgiven her for this-- as a matter of fact, she's on The List.

In addition, Palin stands for the values most Americans hold dear... outside of CA and the Boston-DC corridor, anyway. She would put a halt to the outrageous social agenda of the far-Left moonbats that now control our Federal government... and they know it.

But the biggest reason for the orchestrated, pre-emptive assaults is plain, old-fashioned cowardice... Palin is a huge natural talent, and she scares them to death.

The DNC knows Obama's poll numbers will be in the toilet by 2012... and Sarah continues to speak-up against Obama's ludicrous schemes when many others won't. She's shown herself (as in NY-23) to be brave, sincere, and principled- while the Dear Leader has been promptly exposed as none of those things. She's made it abundantly clear she's opposed to most Obama Administration policies... and now those policies are beginning to fail.

But the fact that Sarah's been so highly successful in life -while completely ignoring the group-therapy victimhood of the left-wing feminist movement- explains the extra dose of venom in these attacks. Her impressive record of achievement turns the whole "Progressive" world on it's head... and she does it with a smile.

Is the GOP in Need of a "Leader"?

Riehl World View has a piece up on Instapundit Glenn Reynolds' interview on PJTV with Mark Levin, which touched-on the question of whether or not the GOP and conservatives need a "leader." [10:35].

Note [7:45] Renolds admitting that even he thought that Levin and others on talk-radio were over-the-top in their 2008 rants re. Obama's plans for apppeasement and a massive socialist agenda... when in reality it's all turned out far, far worse than even their direst predictions... with Obama like a "central-casting villain".

And where do you hear this call for a conservative "leader" coming from, anyway?

Primarily the Left and MSM, of course... most conservatives feel that our ideas unite us just fine at this point- as evidenced on 9/12. And we all know new leadership will evolve into 2012... as Levin says, "the grass-roots in leading the way".

But the Alinskyites of Team Obama/DNC/MSM desperately need for us to have a "leader"... so they have a target. One of Alinsky's primary tenents is to personalize the battle, to single-out a class "enemy" and attack him- just like the Bolsheviks that they are. The Left needs this SO badly in-fact that they attempted to crown a GOP "leader" -Rush Limbaugh- pounding this talking point hard, have constructed rhetorical strawmen, and/or attacked Palin when no such "leader" was provided...

Rules for Radicals' # 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.

One could make the argument that there's really no need for a GOP leader/front-runner until 2011... with the people deciding, not the party... as re. Barack Obama, it was the GOP's base out-there in fly-over country that got it right... and DC-based party leadership that got it oh-so wrong. 2010 will make or break a few careers on both sides of the isle, so let that play-out first. IMO the Democrats will be facing a bloodbath- so we'll just see who emerges once the dust settles.

Sorry Dems- only 14 mos until it's time to face the music... and good luck with that. Now would be a good time to start hedging... you know what you need to do on Obamacare if you plan to stay in the same line of work.

Good Riddance, Trotskyite Ingrate

Communist crackpot and vengeful racist Van Jones has shuffled-off into the sunset- and not a moment too soon for the USA. His activities as a 9/11 truther and bizarre comments regarding the GOP apparently made him an unbearable political burden for an administration who's poll numbers have fallen off the edge of the table. (h/t Stop the ACLU) Jones resigned quietly -and under a cowardly veil of false victimhood- from his position as nominal Green Jobs Czar in the middle of a holiday weekend... and in the middle of the night.

All this America-hating subversive really needs to be told now is that the feeling's mutual, comrade... so don't let the door hit your Bolshevik booty on the way out. BTW, the Castros would probably provide a wannabe Yanqui revolutionary like yourself camo fatigues, a free apartment, '59 Buick, and a commie parade... so do us all a favor and go somewhere you might be wanted.

And how had Obama's Special Advisor on Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation for the White House Council on Environmental Quality actually performed on the job, you ask?

While it's often difficult to determine just what the Dear Leader is trying to accomplish with a cumbersome, opaque statist buraucracy and 30+ Czars- it seems safe to assume that the job description involved creating jobs of some sort. In reality, and despite $60B of wasted Porkulus funds dedicated to the task of creating a "green" economy... America's Green Jobs Czar Van Jones had created exactly... none. (h/t Moonbattery)

The perpetually embittered Jones (can't imagine what the guy's problem is, other than shameful opportunism... seems to me he's been blessed) was actually arrested during the 1991 LA riots, where other anti-American malcontents he met in the can had a life-changing effect on the impressionable, angry lad. Of course, all this street thuggery should have disqualified him for any position in an American presidential administration... and surely would have... back before the ludicrous Twilight-Zone Obama era.

As noted in The Examiner -like a character out of The Big Chill, Jones seems to have evolved from radical activist to Establishment insider. Perhaps only a delusional left-wing administration incapable of recognizing irony would put a self-described communist in charge of creating jobs.

This curious title "FMJWA" -re. the best of the conservative/libertarian blogosphere- sprang-forth from the minds of affable right-wing rabble-rousers Stacy and Smitty at The Other McCain- per Stacy's famed How to Get a Million Hits on Your Blog.

He dubbed such posts dedicated to reciprocal-links after the psychotic drill seargant's stated principle in Kubrick's Full-Metal Jacket:

" When someone does you a favor,

find an opportunity to return the kindness."

Good advice- and since the only acceptable response is "Sir-yes-Sir!", I'll be doing just that. Besides giving credit where credit is due, an every-Saturday-post like this provides the opportunity to share with readers some intriguing viewpoints and patriots' observations found while gallivanting around the right-fringes of the Blogosphere....

Turns out Mr Cao is the one who's the real American on Capitol Hill... actually holding 100% thug-n-plant-free town hall meetings in good-faith... even though much of his district is unhappy with his lack of enthusiasm for ObamaCare.
